Here is what I ate/drank:
6:00 am - Catalyst and Citrus Herb Cleanse at home
6:30 am - Cherry Spark in 34 oz bottle of water that I drank on my way to work
8:30 am - I re-filled my 34 oz bottle with plain water and had a hard boiled egg
10:00 am - 20 Almonds and a Banana
11:00 am - Catalyst
11:15 - I re-filled my 34 oz bottle with water and Spark (YUM GRAPE)
NOON - I had my lunch of hand carved turkey, two hard boiled eggs, and some carrots
2:00 - I refilled my 34 oz bottle with plain water and had an apple
6:00 pm - OmegaPlex
Dinner - Made a Spark Grape - My favorite!
Had Fajitas with Grilled Chicken, Peppers, Onion, Tomato and Mushrooms
Seasons the Fajitas with some Taco Seasoning and served them with Lettuce
and Salsa over Brown Rice
8:00 pm - Snack - More Water and a Spoonful of Natural Peanut Butter
9:00 pm - Herbal Cleanse and Catalyst
Bedtime!
So, here are my thoughts. I am eating more than I have in years. I felt like I was eating all day!
I am full and satisfied. I absolutely love Spark. Prior to today, I drank coffee with cream all morning EVERY DAY and then switched to soda. I would drink anywhere from 3-6 Diet Soda's a Day. Today - NO COFFEE and NO POP.
In addition, we took some before pictures. Clay weighed in right at 250 and I weighed in at 156.4. So excited about this journey.
My only negative thus far would be the Fiber Drink that we had this morning. DISGUSTING. You have to basically chug it because it is a horrible texture. It reminds me of a citrus flavored lukewarm cream of wheat. EWWWWWW.... One of my friends suggested that I drink it as fast as I can through a straw. Lucky for use, you should only cleanse once a quarter and during the first 10 days, you only have 6 fiber drinks. That is 24 per year. I can do anything for 24 days! Bring it Fiber Drink!
In addition to starting the cleanse, my step-daughter and I did Insanity today. Day 1 is the Fit Test. We will be keeping track of our progress on an excel spreadsheet. Yes, I am a nerd. But here are our Day 1 results for the Fit Test:
