Day 60: Getting Naked and Deciding to Decide.

Hello everyone!  Yesterday was a really interesting day.  I had lunch with my Mom and cousins Doris, Gina and Kayla.  It was so nice to catch up with them!  We went to Cracker Barrell and I had an opportunity to share Advocare with them.  We shall see. =D

My mom and I then headed back to Lancaster to attend my Surgery Consultation for Plastic Surgery - A Mommy Makeover, if you will.  The Doctor, Dr. Lichten, was a super nice guy.  He was about my age and had a great, dry sense of humor.  He was easy to talk to and very interested in helping me achieve my goals of:

1. Continuing to get healthy
2. Getting rid of unwanted skin and a lifetime of abusing my body

He suggested two surgeries for me: 1. Abdominoplasty and a breast lift 2. Leg/Thigh lift with liposuction and possible breast implants.

Now, onto timing.  I am intending to train for my first 1/2 or full marathon in the fall.  If I have any of the surgeries above, I would only be able to commit to a 1/2 marathon and would have to take a break from training.  At this point, I think I may wait until after the marathon, have the initial surgery and recover in the early winter.  The other part of my timing revolves around my job hunt.  If I receive an offer and we move, I will have to delay the surgery.

Overall, I was amazed at three things:
1.I can have the surgeries in Lancaster.
2. Each surgery will cost around 10,000.  To be honest, I thought the surgeries would be at least 30-40K.

3. There now exist naked, saggy skin pictures of Kris pre-FrankenBarbie.  AWKWARD.

I ended my long day with watching my niece perform in their school musical.  It was adorable and she had a speaking role.  This child is truly gifted, a natural leader and kind.  I am so proud of her.  I cannot wait to continue watching her grow and blossom.  The world is a better place because of my Bianca.

 KNOWLEDGE GAINED TODAY:

As I continue to grow, I will remain positive and only surround myself with those that lift me up.  I will continue supplementing my  nutrition with the wonderful Advocare MNS-E, Catalyst and Omega Products - They rock!  I will get prepared to:  DECIDE TO DECIDE on the surgeries.

Cheers and Love friends, Kris
